Our Mission

Focus4Vision, founded two years ago by a group of parents and volunteers with personal experiences of visual impairments, began as an online support group for families with blind and visually impaired children. After a period of inactivity, the charity was revitalized in February 2024 by Brendan Bailey, transforming into a non-profit dedicated to providing innovative sporting programs and support services for visually impaired children in Barnsley.

We aim to empower individuals who have visual impairments by providing them with innovative sporting programs and support services, as well as personalised attention and a likeminded community that empowers individuals to thrive, not only in their personal lives, but also in their professional careers. Our cutting-edge initiatives include personalised sport classes that develop skills, support both mental and physical health, and improve social communication skills.

Our focus is on fostering independence and success among participants. The impact of the organization extends beyond just skills development as it creates lasting opportunities for individuals with visual impairments.

Through our services, we enable individuals to achieve their full potential by overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals.
